Top 5 features on board the new Superhawk 55
The all-new Superhawk 55 features a sleek exterior design, exquisite detailing and exciting innovations. Powered by twin Volvo Penta D11-IPS 950 engines matched with a hull form specifically designed for the IPS propulsion system, the latest model to join the Performance range is capable of a thrilling 38knots with unparalleled agility.
Let’s delve into more detail about some of the stand out features on board.
Firstly, let’s talk about the main deck arrangement. Perfect for entertaining with friends, the full-beam aft cockpit makes maximum use of the yacht's incredible width, benefitting from a generous configurable seating arrangement. With both forward seat units on adjustable rails, both sofas can glide effortlessly from an open, more relaxed position, diagonally inward to a more formal dining arrangement. Centred around a foldable table capable of seating up to 6 people comfortably, this feature allows owners to fully maximise the space on-board to suit their requirements.
Moving aft, the Superhawk 55 features a large sun pad area, which can be positioned flat or with backrests facing forward or aft. The water level tender garage can house a Williams MiniJet, launched effortlessly thanks to its sloped transom and platform that both disappear downwards rather than hinging upwards. Due to the unique design of the tender garage, the Superhawk 55 has a second dedicated water toy locker under an electrically opening hatch, independent of the garage. Capable of accommodating up to 2 Seabobs, diving tanks or perhaps an inflatable paddle board, the stowage of toys is both innovative and unique.
A highly luxurious open-plan saloon and galley area, again makes use of the full beam and expanse of light available through cleverly positioned windows and lighting including stylised LEDs in the glazed roof. The fully equipped galley includes a full height fridge/freezer, ample stowage, microwave oven and dishwasher. The forward cabin benefits from a very generous en suite, LED mood lighting and a wardrobe on the port side, whilst the aft cabin comes with optional sliding berths offering a double or two singles and a matching en suite.
Helming on board takes place from the centre-line triple helm, allowing three people to manoeuvre effortlessly and with 360 views for all. Complete with dual glass-bridge Garmin display screens, charging pads and chrome multi-purpose dials, the console is well-equipped for all helming requirements whilst the galley unit behind can incorporate a refrigerator, ice-maker, BBQ and rise & fall TV. All of this is sat behind a stainless-capped, curved windscreen that offers completely uninterrupted views and protection from the elements combined with a stylish hardtop, where specified.
With use of space being the most important feature on board, the bow does not disappoint. Accessed via stylish pantograph doors to port and starboard of the helm, the side decks deliver effortless walk-around contact. The bow features a large sunbathing pad which can slide forward and aft to reveal an additional seating arrangement with table – making this a multi-purpose space for guests to enjoy throughout the day and night.
