Sunseeker has announced the introduction of a new, standardised naming convention across its entire model range. As Sunseeker continues to expand its portfolio and realises its ambitious superyacht strategy, the new naming system has been designed to simplify and unify the model line-up for customers, dealers, and partners around the world.

This global initiative aims to make the Sunseeker range easier to understand and navigate - regardless of market or language - while reinforcing the company’s long-term vision of building a truly world-class, globally recognised brand.

Key benefits of the new naming system:
● A consistent, unified approach to model names worldwide
● Clearer communication of each model’s size and category
● Stronger alignment with Sunseeker’s expanding superyacht range

“Our yachts are sold and enjoyed in every corner of the world,” said CEO Andrea Frabetti. “As our offering grows, particularly in the superyacht sector, it’s essential to bring greater clarity and consistency to our range. This change ensures our customers and partners can easily understand and engage with our line-up, wherever they are.”

What’s changing?

1. Length-based classification All yachts will now be named according to their overall length in metres, replacing previous classifications based on gross tonnage.

2. Range categories Models have been grouped under revised range headings that better reflect customer usage and stylistic preferences. Notably, the former ‘Sport Yachts’ category has been consolidated under the new ‘Performance’ range.

3. New models introduced The naming update also heralds the arrival of several new models, which will be unveiled at this year’s Cannes Yachting Festival.
