Sunseeker San Remo scoops Motor Boat Award 2014
The impressive Sunseeker San Remo has won the ‘Best Sportscruiser over 45ft’ category in the prestigious Motor Boat Awards 2014.
The highly respected Motor Boat Awards bring together marine business leaders to celebrate the best of the best from the motorboating world. Sunseeker beat off competition from all major boat manufacturers to claim the coveted Sportscruiser over 45ft award.
Stewart McIntyre, Managing Director of Sunseeker International commented: “The San Remo is a truly stunning yacht which captures the essence of Sunseeker in every way so we are delighted to accept this award. The competition was stiff this year so it makes this achievement even more impressive and is testament to the ongoing commitment and passion of the Sunseeker team.”
Every detail of the San Remo has been planned to perfection, but its hidden treasure is the feeling of space and style throughout, from the exquisite owner’s stateroom right through to the galley and onto the upper deck. The generous main saloon area, consisting of stunning curved seating, is equipped with all the usual amenities you would expect from a cruiser of this size. But its light interior, combined with roof skylights and hull-side windows, transform the living space with floods of natural light.
Up to four guests can be catered for in style and comfort on the water, while the superbly appointed cabins are intricately designed with exceptional use of space. The master cabin allows for an impressive kingsize bed, side-sofa dresser, and en-suite to port. Whilst the forward cabin presents a beautiful double which effortlessly transforms into twin beds and the third cabin provides even more accommodation.
While the San Remo boasts truly class-leading design and luxury, performance is still at the heart of this true sports cruiser. Fitted with twin Volvo IPS 600’s the San Remo easily reaches maximum performance speeds of up to 32 knots.
One of the San Remo’s biggest attractions is its ample exterior space. A stylish and highly sociable deck boasts a stunning aft sun pad, large U-shaped seating, a double bench seat and lounge area, ideal for relaxing or partying. There is also a wet bar and full dining arrangement for preparing and eating al-fresco.
A spacious dash and helm also awaits the skipper and is fitted with the latest technology. The leather and chrome steering wheel is adjustable to suit standing or sitting positions while a rising tinted roof which moves on a smooth and neatly engineered radius, can be opened as much as you like to allow a flow-through of sea air.
With a new ‘Ken Freivokh’ signature look, and a huge choice of options, there is an array of stylish interiors and colour schemes to suit all tastes. Whilst a garage for a 325 Williams craft and hydraulic platform come as standard.
