Local Star Line-Up Revealed For ‘Sunseeker Sessions’ Stage At Poole Harbour Boat Show

As a main sponsor of Poole Harbour Commissioners’ inaugural Poole Harbour Boat Show, Sunseeker is pleased to unveil a star studded line-up for the ‘Sunseeker Sessions’ live music stage. The stage will be a central feature of the two-day event, showcasing great British performance with musical talent from across the region. Confirmed acts include popular skiffle band Quinns Quinney who will headline on the Saturday evening.

The full ‘Sunseeker Sessions’ line-up will feature an eclectic mix of rock, jazz, blues, folk, shanty and indie music, with acclaimed local acts Empire Affair, The Bonsai Pirates, The Dorset Wrecks and The Ace Trio also scheduled to appear during the show, and more still to be confirmed.

Bryan Jones, marketing manager at Sunseeker, commented: “We’re expecting to see high numbers of boat enthusiasts descending on Poole Quay and Poole Quay Boat Haven for the show and the ‘Sunseeker Sessions’ stage will be a real focal point on the quayside. Alongside the array of Sunseeker yachts we’ll have on display it’s going to contribute to a spectacular event, and we’re looking forward to seeing this great line-up of local bands keeping the crowds entertained.”

Poole Harbour Commissioners chief executive, Jim Stewart added: “We are excited that Sunseeker will have a presence at our first Poole Harbour Boat Show, they are such a big name in the marine industry and having a well-known local company support the event is fantastic. The ‘Sunseeker Sessions’ live music stage will be a great addition to the Quay and with the bands confirmed to be performing, we’re sure visitors will be entertained throughout the weekend.”

The first ever Poole Harbour Boat Show takes place on the weekend of 9-10 May and is being organised and operated by Poole Harbour Commissioners (PHC). The free public event will take place on Poole Quay and at PHC’s award-winning marina Poole Quay Boat Haven. It will incorporate a variety of marine-related businesses, family focused entertainment and other elements associated with a regional boat show.
