Sunseeker 134 Superyacht arrives in Poole
Spotted making her way along the Dorset coast, Sunseeker's highly anticipated 134 Superyacht has completed a significant stage in her journey, arriving in Poole following the successful completion of the first phase of construction in Portland.
While her bold silhouette already hints at the presence she will command on the water, much of what makes the 134 extraordinary lies beneath the surface. Over the past several months, Sunseeker's engineering teams have been focused on creating the yacht's foundations, moulding her hull, fitting her main deck and superstructure, and installing the critical systems that will ultimately power, stabilise and bring the vessel to life.
If the hull forms the body of the yacht, Portland has been where her heart and bones were created. Her engines, generators, shafts, propellers, stabilisers and core hydraulic systems are now installed, alongside the intricate network of fuel, fresh water, grey water and black water systems that run throughout the vessel. With the engineering backbone complete, the project now enters a new and exciting chapter.
Now housed within Sunseeker's dedicated Superyacht facility in Poole, attention turns to the areas where engineering meets artistry. Here, the vessel's systems and technology will begin to take shape, with sophisticated wheelhouse technology, electrical infrastructure and onboard systems integrated alongside bespoke cabinetry, luxurious interiors and finely crafted detailing.
Just as compelling as the yacht's scale is the owner's decision to commission a bespoke ‘Extreme Black’ hull finish.
In a market increasingly dominated by convention, the most iconic yachts are often those whose owners have the confidence to make a statement. Finished in an imposing shade of black, the 134 Superyacht will possess an unmistakable presence on the water, accentuating her powerful lines and commanding proportions.
It is a choice that ensures she will be recognised instantly, whether anchored in Monaco, cruising the Bahamas or arriving in her home port.
A true maverick.
