Purpose of role:


Ensure a safe material handling from supplier deliveries to storage / consumption point.

Provide a high level of quality assurance through the internal supply chain process


  • Observe health and safety compliance at all time in accordance with legislation and Sunseeker policies

  • Provide full traceability of materials, in real time, by aligning SAP system and physical location

  • Check delivery documents

  • Check packaging quality and condition of materials

  • Inform management about any shortages / stock or delivery discrepancy and material quality failures.


    Major Tasks and Activities:

    • Unloading suppliers deliveries and returns from production lines

    • Good receipting of materials both physically and on system

    • Ensure correct identification of goods

    • Checking / Reporting any damaged or missing items

    • Selecting appropriate storage location and put away of materials and maintaining system accuracy

    • Picking and packing orders

    • Loading goods for dispatch

    • Delivery documents management

    • Keeping paperwork up to date

    • Keeping accurate records of stock

    • Ensure adherence to material management processes

    • Additional duties and occasional cross departmental exchange as and when required

Safety, Health and Environmental Co-ordinator

We are recruiting for an experienced Safety, Health and Environmental Co-ordinator, to provide administrative and analytical support to the Health and Safety Department.  This position plays a vital role in ensuring all Health and Safety reports are completed accurately and on time and, that the administration of Health and Safety runs effectively and efficiently. The ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills as they will be required to interrelate with a wide range of people within Sunseeker and external entities.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

GRP Laminator/Composite Boat Builder

We are now recruiting skilled GRP Laminators to join the family.  Playing a pivotal role in the production of the worlds finest luxury motor yachts, you will be an experienced Laminator from either the general composites, or boat building industry.  Sunseeker Laminators work on the various production lines of Sunseeker models, from the 48ft San Remo, through to the flagship 155ft Super Yacht. 


The position includes the production of Wet Lay Up and Infused GRP components such as: Hulls, Decks and Superstructures.


Being able to confidently produce quality GRP mouldings, successful candidates will be able to comfortably sit a practical moulding trade test to prove they have the skills to meet our renowned quality standards.

Financial Analyst - Operations


Role Purpose

To support operations with the provision of financial reporting, support business decision making, performance monitoring and the development of key performance indicators.


Role Dimensions

A key member of the Operational Business unit

Regular interfacing with Operations including, Production, Supply Chain, Product Design & Development and Sales

Close working relationship with Commercial Finance and FP&R and Operational Finance


Principal Accountabilities

Business Unit/Boat Line reporting

Finance lead for Business Unit/Boat Line performance

Drive & support financial accountability within the Business Unit/Boat Line

Implement robust costs to complete processes to monitor projected boat build costs (EACs)

Support the company’s budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning process

Support the budgetary process to underpin the new model development program

Undertake regular reviews of other operational cost centres as designated

Other project based tasks as and when required



Qualified  Accountant with at least 1-2 years post qualification experience preferably in a manufacturing, construction or engineering environment

Strong IT skills (in particular Excel); exposure to SAP would be advantageous

Ability to work and communicate with all levels within the Company in a continually evolving environment

Will need to be confident, articulate with strong analytical skills and a “can do” attitude


Key Tasks

Developing methods for cost monitoring on each boat under construction, in particular, comparing stage of build against schedule and EACs – this will include both labour and materials

Regular boat reviews with the appropriate business manager/production manager

Monthly Cost Centre reviews with business manager/production manager with appropriate analysis providing support, where necessary, at business reviews

Providing month end accruals for WIP boats

Assist business manager/production manager with month end commentary on boats revenue recognised and in WIP

Support Finance with appropriate data for budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning and long term contract accounting

Regular updates detailing business performance

Develop, in conjunction with the Operational Finance function, KPI and Dashboard reports


Design Engineer


The main purpose of this role is to assist in the design and development of both new and existing projects, from modelling components through to producing fully resolved drawings to be issued to production.  

Main Tasks:

  • To design and produce production drawings for various components and sub-assemblies for both new and existing projects, primarily using Siemens NX 3-D design software but also using Autocad 2-D as required.

  • To design, model and draft all aspects of systems and machinery including engine geometry for shaft, surface drive, outdrive, outboard and POD installations.

  • To design, model and draft steering, thrusting and stabilisation systems within the hull assembly.

  • To design, model and draft exhaust systems and machinery combustion and ventilation air systems.

  • To design, model and draft engine room fire suppression systems, fire hydrant and emergency bilge systems.

  • To work with and be able to lay out all essential systems within a vessel, such as Black, Grey, Fresh, HVAC, Fuel Oil, Compressed Air, Hydraulics

  • To be able to communicate all design information clearly to others involved in the design and production of the project (working in liaison with the purchasing and planning departments).

  • To ensure that parts are populated into the S-Drive excel sheets which is in turn then used to populate the SAP grandfather bill of materials (GBOM)

  • To be able to work on projects as part of a small and focused team as well as issuing design information to tight deadlines with minimum supervision where required.

  • To produce drawings that are suitable for production, classification societies and formatted in such a way that they are suitable for owner’s manuals.

  • To continually strive to develop personal skill and knowledge in all aspects of marine design, to enable future advancement in both personal ability, and future larger products.

The successful candidate will need:

  • Experience of design, production/engineering using 3-D and 2-D design software.

  • Experience within the marine industry is not a necessity, but it would be beneficial to the job holder.

  • Would ideally suit a Design Engineer or Marine Engineer.

  • Computer literacy is a requirement, with a sound knowledge of 3-D design software, Autocad 2-D design software and spreadsheet ability preferred.
