HOW TO APPLY

The Selection Process
The first stage of the selection process includes a formal interview with the college and an aptitude assessment, which includes:
- Mechanical comprehension
- Numerical reasoning
The second stage will be an Open Evening at the Sunseeker International Shipyard in Poole, where you will be able to meet current Apprentices and the Supervisors from our boat lines.
The third and final stage will be a practical assessment followed by a second formal interview at a Sunseeker site.
What you need to do now
In order to help your application we recommend you:
- Gather evidence of your interest in the trade you want to apply for. Example: a folder containing photos of objects you have made or worked with. Or perhaps documents from School/College projects.
- Gain work experience in the trade you want to apply for either here at Sunseeker or in another manufacturing environment.
- Research Sunseeker and the marine manufacturing industry and consider why you want an Apprenticeship with Sunseeker.
